Authorship and Contribution
Authorship is restricted to individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the research, including the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study.
All authors share collective responsibility and accountability for the content of the published work.
The journal requires a clear author contribution statement. Individuals who assisted in the research but do not meet authorship criteria must be appropriately acknowledged.
Complaints and Appeals
The journal is committed to handling complaints and appeals in a fair, transparent, and timely manner.
Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a formal justification within 10 days of receiving the decision. Appeals are evaluated by an independent body to ensure objectivity.
Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest occurs when professional, financial, personal, or institutional relationships could influence the objectivity of the publication process.
Authors, editors, reviewers, and editorial staff must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Where a conflict is identified, appropriate steps are taken to safeguard the integrity of the review and publication process.
Ethical Oversight
Research involving human participants, sensitive information, or security-related data must comply with institutional and national ethical requirements.
Authors must confirm that ethical approval has been obtained where necessary and that informed consent was secured when applicable.
Plagiarism Policy
All submissions are screened using plagiarism-detection software.
Manuscripts with unacceptable similarity levels will be rejected. The journal recommends that similarity should not normally exceed 20%, excluding references and properly cited material.
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article.
Corrections and Retractions
The journal is dedicated to preserving the accuracy of the scholarly record.
When significant errors are identified, the journal will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions in accordance with COPE guidelines.
Research Misconduct
Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Fabrication or falsification of data
